Alcatel has introduced their new Alcatel OT-V670 under GSM V-series.Having a dimensions of 89 x 45.7 x 22mm and weighs 83g,it has a standby time of 350 hours and 8 hours talk time. Good news that you can store lots of MP3 music and last its playing time up to 10 hours. The OT-V670 has a 1.8in, 128 x 160, 65 colour screen, TFT, Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0, an internal memory of 10MB, Micro SD Card Support up to 1G and an EDGE and WAP connectivity.

There will always will be a market for entry-level handsets. We don’t all want the latest five-megapixel, HSDPA-enabled, sat nav-boasting super phone. Firstly, you might not be willing to pay through the nose for one or sign up to a long-term contract. Secondly, you may have no desire to use your handset for anything more than taking the odd snap, sending text messages and of course making phone calls.The OT-V770 is an impressively thin candybar at just 10mm.
The Alcatel OT-V770 is only 10mm thick and I think it is one of Alcatel’s first triband phones. This phone only has a 1.9 inches display though it supports 256k colors. Now that I don’t understand, why put 256k colors on the Alcatel OT-V770’s 1.9 inch screen when hardly anyone could appreciate that in a screen that small, oh well, I guess only Alcatel will know.
The music player is the handset’s standout feature, with various ways of storing and displaying your tunes. In today’s multi-megapixel market, the camera may disappoint, but this should be compensated by the fact you can record unlimited-length video. With a built-in music player, Alcatel has also bundled in a 2GB microSD card so there is plenty of space for you to store your media content. The handset also boasts a webcam that can be hooked up to your PC, as well as a 1.3-megapixel camera and Stereo Bluetooth.

Alcatel OT-V212 is a dual-band GSM candybar featuring 65k color display, SMS messaging, FM Radio and Speakerphone. It has a dimensions of 98 x 44 x 12.3 mm and weighs 70g. The battery life of the Alcatel OT-V212 is relatively long, with 5 hours of talk time possible with the phone. You also get about 250 or so standby hours.You will also find a calculator and calendar on the phone. When it comes to the outside colour of the mobile phone, you won’t find many options.

This Alcatel OT-V270 will be Alcatels new entry level basic spec phone, intended for the the prepaid market and the user that wants a nice looking phone with only the basic functions (calling, SMS) and no other functions that are not needed on a phone. Expect this phone to be out very soon and it will be priced very low. This phone is the ultimate when it comes to value for money. Great looks with almost no cost. No extra applications that drains battery life, this is good for business oriented people.
