It is very difficult to follow the news concerning Alcatel’s newest cell phone, the OT-E801. It appears to be of a very low range. The OT-E801 is also able to play MP3s, and can download them from its MicroSD slot. It is also capable of text messaging. In short, it looks like this little guy is just a run-of-the-mill, with no new features or any other such bells and whistles. It has a price of 65 euros, which is probably the price for a new generation who will go through cell phones like aluminum cans.
Although the Alcatel OT-E801 does not have a whole lot of extras, the music player is quite easy to follow and it contains a shuffle option. In addition, the phone comes loaded with two Java games. The screen is a bit small, with dimensions of just 28 x 30 mm. The display is CSTN with 65K colours with a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. The Alcatel T-E801 is also quite light, weighing in at just 79g. With dimensions of 96.5 x 45 x 17.5 mm, it will also fit quite easily into your pocket. You can also personalize your ring tones with 64 channels of polyphonic ring tone capabilities.
